| I'm considering bringing my two boys up who are relatively new to racing. It sounds like a nice weekend and a great event. I am, however, shocked that it would cost $58 each for my 11 year old and 17 year old to be in the road race. As USCA class 5 juniors, where there are no cash prizes, only medals, this is more than twice the cost of any other of the 8 races they are scheduled to be in (so far) this year. Why so expensive for the young (and citizen) races? *** Jeff *** - Please email us at superiorbikefest@chartermi.net for additional information Please check out the UPDATES page for details on the new Junior discounts!! | |||

| You guys might consider moving the pro classes in the friday night crit more toward the middle of the schedule as it seems alot of spectators have left by the end of the evening.A better show for more people! Would also be great to have staggered start times for the xc and circuit races on sunday morning.Even if its just an hour.May bring more entries to both events.I have seen riders finish the xc race at the ski hill and then scramble out to the circuit race to ride again. Thanks again for an awesome event! | |||

| Congrats on an awesome event. We all know that this is basically a roadrace event.Hence the scheduling of the "race at the base"event on top of the well established xc mtb race at marquette mt ski area.Since the mountainbike events have been pushed to the back burner you really need to consider lowering the entry fees in the mtb events so more riders can afford to compete. The mountainbike events are almost all off road and require no traffic control from local police which you know is a huge expense.$53.00 for one race is too high even when you sign up early and $70.00 the day of the event is way out of line. You can sign up for some of the largest mtb events in the midwest for $31.00 to around $60.00. Our event here in marquette has huge potential.I hope the rumors about dropping the mtb events are not true.I had a blast at the races as a racer and spectator.Thanks. steve Ferguson....marquette. | |||

| Another great event. Sugeestions would include starting crits earlier to avoid the night time finish for the fast guys/gals. Alos, the band at the crit is fantastic but unappr4ciated at that moment. Why not an after race party(either Fri or Sat night) somewhere outside(ski area, beach, state park??) or in(arena?) with local places selling food and drink to the racers and their families. Superior Food Fest??? Tired of eating in same places each year w/o music. Lastly as it grows, how about a 50 or 55 plus age group for the USCF races??? You can have the 2 groups race together but at least give the older guys a chance for a medal. Thanks. | |||
